Job Title: Sponsorship and Promotions Executive
Reporting to Head of Brand Partnerships
Purpose of Job
To help develop and manage all aspects of revenue generation from S&P activity for UTV Ireland and to support the Head of Brand Partnership. The Role
- To manage and co-ordinate a portfolio of clients across all S&P activity
- To provide support in all day to day aspects of the wider Brand Partnerships portfolio
- To prepare proposals for clients and the market
- To monitor and report on competitive activity across all S&P for management
- To report to agencies/clients on post campaign performance
- To utilise all research sources to help develop S&P justification
- To help co-ordinate and manage S&P marketing activity
- To develop and deliver and design presentations
- To help organise S&P events for agencies/clients
- To help identify opportunities to grow year on year S&P revenue and the client base
- To liaise with ITV when appropriate
- To liaise with UTV Ireland and UTV commercial production teams
- To attend and contribute to sales meetings
- To represent the company and brand as requested
- To provide exceptional customer service
- To support the Head of Brand Partnership as required
- To undertake any other duties as required
PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION
Education 3rd level education desirable
Experience - A minimum of 2 years’ recent relevant experience in a Broadcasting or Advertising environment.
- Proven experience of identifying and developing business opportunities to maximise revenue potential.
- Experience of dealing with a broad range of individuals and organisations including advertising agencies.
- Proven experience of preparing and delivering budget targets.
Knowledge - Understanding of the advertising, sponsorship and promotions sector in ROI.
- Knowledge of broadcast legal and regulatory compliance issues.
- Understanding of the role and function of TAM Ireland.
- Understanding of the Television market in Ireland including the workings of: ratings, audiences, share of viewing, cost per thousand and all other industry measurements.
- Understanding of the relationship between UTV Television and UTV Ireland and the potential for combined S&P – regulation permitting.
