Marketing Manager Internship – Digital Biscuit 2015
Digital Biscuit has an exciting position for a Marketing Manager intern who is interested in the Irish film and television industry. The chosen candidate will be offered a unique work experience in an exciting environment. You will be given the opportunity to improve online marketing skills and PR skills as well as assisting in research and administration and be exposed to key issues and developments in the film, television and technology industries.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementation of Digital Biscuit’s new identity.
- Development and implementation of marketing and public relation plans.
- Building relationships with businesses, individuals and organisations interested in supporting Digital Biscuit.
- Coordinate logistics of event tickets sales.
- Coordinate event logistics, publicity, including public relations, advertising and collateral material design, production and distribution.
- Write, submit and follow-up to ensure placement on press releases and stories to established contacts with local and regional media.
- Broaden social networking to benefit the organisation.
- Establish and expand merchandise opportunities.
- Other duties are directed as required.
Requirements:
- A third level qualification in Marketing or a similar area.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Attention to detail.
- Passion for digital media and film and TV.
- Experience in events, sponsorship, marketing, public relations, website and business development would be preferable.
- A fully comprehensible knowledge of all social media platforms, Wordpress and Microsoft office.
- Ability to work well independently or in a team, in high-pressure situations.
Terms and Conditions:
- Duration of role: 6 months minimum.
- Full Time.
- This is an unpaid position.
The selected person for the role should enjoy working in a busy office in the centre of Dublin’s Cultural Quarter, Temple Bar.
