Compliance Editor
There is an immediate opening for an assistant programme compliance editor within the Operations Department of TV3.
The following is a summary of the primary requirements of the job but does not outline all the duties and responsibilities for this position.
THE POSITION:
- To evaluate acquired programme content with due regard to TV3’s Taste and Decency Guidelines.
- To identify technical flaws, dropouts, poor audio, etc.
- Select best timing for Ad breaks during movies using editorial discretion.
- Preparation of programmes for transmission.
- Editing of other broadcast material from time to time including the re-versioning of previously transmitted material.
The successful candidate should:
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge of Avid based editing systems. This will be considered a distinct advantage
- Have good editorial judgement and advice on content issues.
- Have a flexible approach to working a shift pattern.
