Airtime Manager, UTV Ireland (based in Dublin)

Reporting to:

Head of Sales Operations, UTV Ireland

Purpose of Job:

- To manage and deliver advertising inventory across the channel ensuring that television airtime is booked and optimised correctly

Main Duties:

- To ensure efficient processing of all bookings for the channel from approval to delivery

- To process monthly pre-booking and autogen

- To manage the slotting, maintenance, manipulation and optimisation of airtime

- To inform Agency Sales of schedule changes

- To maximize the commercial potential from airtime

- To forecast and monitor capacity for audiences by month

- To utilise all research sources to track audience trends

- To ensure all late sales opportunities are maximised

- To work closely with inventory management to maximise break patterns and audience efficiency

- To allocate airtime in programme specials

- To coordinate sales deadlines

- To create contingencies when required

- To manage specific airtime requests

- To liaise with sales across all aspects of airtime booking

- To liaise with ITV where appropriate

- To liaise with UTV scheduling department

- To be available for out of hours exceptional changes

- To undertake any other duties as required
