Bord Scannán na hÉireann/ The Irish Film Board(IFB) is the national development agency for the Irish film industry investing in Talent, Creativity and Enterprise.
The agency is seeking to engage a person in the senior role of Legal and Business Executive reporting directly to the Deputy CEO. The successful applicant shall be positive in attitude, highly organised, with keen attention to detail and have proven track in a legal and business role, preferably in the audio-visual industry.
This is a wide and varied role in a fast-moving organisation which will have responsibility for much of the agency's contracting requirements. It involves negotiating with producers and co-financiers across a range of projects from feature film, television, documentary and animation to a wide variety of other industry initiatives.
The candidate will need to be driven to deliver the best outcomes to the highest standards for the IFB, its clients and its stakeholders. The candidate must have strong legal and business skills alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate must have a legal background with commercial instinct as well as a passion for film and media.
