This is a Community Employment position which means only people who are over 25 years of age and have been receiving social welfare payments for 12 months or over are considered eligible for the position. Please contact your local FAS office if you are unsure if you qualify.
This person will play a role in supporting NearTV volunteers in television production for DCTV (UPC 802) and online www.neartv.ie.
Job description
- Skills in Premier Pro and/or Final Cut Pro required
- Strong understanding of story and structure
- Ability to train and facilitate others
- Quick turnaround of productions including ability to liaise with DCTV on broadcast schedules
As NearTV is a small community based co-operative a team-player, hands-on attitude is essential, as is the drive to see projects through to the end.
