Raygun, a very busy, highly regarded post-production facility in the heart of Dublin is looking to recruit a new sound engineer.

We are a collective of creative award-winning audio engineers, motion graphics artists and talented editors who specialise in commercial campaigns, documentaries, animations, features, and digital content.

The Role:

This audio enthusiast must have at least 3-5 yrs post-production sound studio experience with a body of work to showcase their sound design, mixing and sound editing skills. The ability to work with clients in attendance is a must and the understanding of working closely in a team environment.

Key Skills:

• Broad Knowledge of Pro Tools and Desks.
• Extensive knowledge of sound relating to Broadcast, Commercial, Animation, and Online.
• Experience of Surround Sound Mixing.
• Technical Knowledge of microphones, preamps and a wide range of Plugins.
• Understand the preparation and ingesting of AAF files and various video formats.
• Knowledge of ADR protocols to include Source Connect and ISDN.
• Self-Motivating, and at times self-managing individual.
• A passion for recording all things audio. Voices, sound effects, music with experience of doing so.
• Excellent communication and social skills.
• Ability to work creatively with both commercial and Longform creative teams, directors and producers.
• Work closely with Head of Department to deliver a very high standard of output.
