Responsible to:                  Head of transmission operations                                                               

Liaison with:                        Compliance, Programming, Sales & Operation

Main tasks of Job:

• Loading, timing and checking transmission schedules
• Liaising with programming, compliance, sales and operations on a daily basis.
• Loading commercial spots and other interstitials onto the servers
• Ensuring transmitted schedule complies with BAI timing requirements, particularly commercial air-time limits
• Ensure that the output of all channels are kept to the highest broadcast standards

Essential

•  An excellent understanding of broadcast automated transmission systems
• 1-2 years’ experience preferred  
• A thorough understanding of broadcast video formats and standards
• Experience in live automated television presentation for a terrestrial, cable or satellite broadcaster
• A good understanding of studio operations
• Excellent computer and keyboard skills

• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Show initiative and act calmly under pressure
• Good communications skills
