Dublin’s prestigious Gate Theatre is recruiting for the position of Personal Assistant to the Director, Michael Colgan. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to work with a small, established team in an organisation which has a reputation as one of the world’s leading theatres.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
• A minimum of three years PA Experience at MD or Director level.
• Good IT skills and full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a typing speed of at least 50 wpm.
• A high level of accuracy in all work and an attention to detail.
• Strong time-management skills and an ability to prioritise tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, both written and verbal.
• The capacity to balance multiple assignments and projects simultaneously.
• An ability to work under pressure whilst adhering to tight deadlines.
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to undertake a range of diverse duties as required.
• Demonstrable interest in or knowledge of the cultural landscape of Ireland, theatre, art, film and/ or museums.
• A 3rd level qualification in the area of the arts or arts management would be an advantage as would previous experience working within the arts and cultural sector.
