Job Title: Junior Graphic Designer

Reports to:Head of Creative, UTV Ireland

Purpose of Job: To support the design, development and production of creative material for internal and external clients

Main Duties: • To assist in the development of ideas and concepts across a range of UTV Ireland output

• To support the production of commercials and promotions from concept to post production

• To design programme graphics for UTV Ireland output

• To support the design and production of internal promotional material for on screen and print

• To liaise with external clients in creative productions

• To undertake DSLR camera operations as required

• To work independently and as a team member

• To represent the Company externally as required

• To keep abreast of developments in the industry, especially those related to new media projects Personal Specifications

Education: Third level education, in a design related subject essential

Experience: Proven experience in a commercial environment as a creative or graphic designer desirable

Experience in a broadcasting environment desirable

Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and After Effects essential

Skills: Ability to interpret and implement a brief within time and budgetary constraints
