We are looking for an experienced researcher to start immediately to work on the early stages of a high-profile sports feature documentary.
The successful candidate must have a great interest in and knowledge of sports generally, and specifically cycling. This is a complex project that will require not only knowledge of the sport of cycling but also of the bureaucracy and politics surrounding the sport.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience of researching projects outside of Ireland would be an advantage. Archive research both nationally and internationally is also a requirement.
Minimum 3 years experience in broadcast documentary research/journalism. Does not have to be Dublin-based, but must be able to work from Dublin when required.
To be available to start immediately - initially for 1 month with a possibility that the contract will be extended.
Please only apply if you have significant broadcast/film documentary credits. We will require a detailed cv with mention of referees. Due to the high level of interest expected, we will only contact successful applicants.
