Irish Film & Television Network (IFTN) is currently seeking an Online Advertising Sales Executive to join a dynamic team, with the opportunity to work in a busy but rewarding environment.  IFTN has been publishing an award winning web service for over sixteen years www.iftn.ie . The IFTN site is a major gateway for and about the audio-visual industry in Ireland and is used by industry professionals around the world and is THE online resource for, and about, the film and television industry in Ireland.  We are seeking an Online  Advertising Sales Executive who will drive online advertising sales inventory and manage a designated list of valued existing clients. This is an excellent opportunity to open new channels and gain valuable experience in the online / audio-visual sector.
Responsibilities;

• Generate online advertising sales for the IFTN website working to monthly set targets
• Main emphasis on building on a new client base with a smaller level of work generated around servicing existing clients
• Lead-generation and identifying new business and markets for IFTN
• To keep clients informed of ongoing online advertising sales opportunities
• To assist clients with queries in relation to content and design and to liaise with our internal design team on requirements of clients

The ideal candidate will have;

• 2-3 years previous online advertising sales experience
• Excellent telephone manner and self-starter with ability to work to own initiative
• Good negotiating skills & numerical ability
• A very focused strategy and ability for setting and reaching quarterly sales targets
• Working closely with Company Director but also possess the ability to work independently
