The Exchange is launching worldwide sales for Wolfland, a thriller starring Pierce Brosnan and directed by Sean Brosnan, at Cannes’ Marché du Film.
Director Sean Brosnan (My Father Die) is set to collaborate with his father, actor Pierce Brosnan (Giant), on his second feature, Wolfland, from a script he co-wrote with Matt D’Elia (American Animal). The Exchange is executive producing and handling worldwide sales at the Marché du Film in Cannes, with filming expected to begin later this year in the UK.
Described as an “epic odyssey”, Wolfland follows a young teenager who, when his sister is attacked and showing signs of a transformation, leaves his small village in search of a werewolf hunter who can reverse the curse. He finds the ‘legend’, Devlin, slumped against a bar. Devlin takes the teenager’s money and agrees to hunt down the monster.
Wolfland is being produced by Marcus Warren for Light Sound Frequency and Christian Moore for The Consortium. Imaginarium Studios, founded by Andy Serkis (Planet of the Apes franchise, The Lord of the Rings), providing creature design and effects.
