Creative Europe VOD Deals Webinar.
Creative Europe in association with Erich Pommer Institut has announced an upcoming online webinar ‘VOD Deals… from a helicopter view,” which takes place on Thursday, September 24th at 3pm.

VOD platforms are becoming increasingly important in the licensing of European library content and the financing new works of European content. We hear a lot about big American streamers but less about other platforms and how to approach deals with them.

Wendy Bernfeld from Rights Stuff will give a helicopter view of VOD platforms that buy European feature films and talk about what the different deals in different windows such as TVOD, SVOD, AVOD, PVOD can look like.

Register here by 22nd September for free.

After her presentation, a selection of European producers will ask Wendy relevant questions about how to negotiate with and sell projects to VOD platforms.

Wendy specialises in content strategy, curation, acquisition, and distribution of content for, and to, traditional and digital media platforms. This includes ’Originals’ deals for digital-first (web, short and long format) and cross-platform content, as well as interactive and VR/XR production and distribution.

This webinar is organised by Creative Europe MEDIA Desks Berlin-Brandenburg and Denmark in collaboration with Creative Europe MEDIA Desks France, Hungary, Ireland, Poland and Romania and Erich Pommer Institute.

Please register here for this free webinar by 22nd September via Zoom. The event link will be sent to registered participants one day prior to the webinar. The webinar runs from 14:00 - 15:00 Irish time on September 24th (15.00-16.00 CEST).

Please note that places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
