NI Screen's Irish Language Broadcast Fund seeking applications for New Entrant Scheme

Northern Ireland Screen's Irish Language Broadcast Fund
Northern Ireland Screen is seeking applications from fluent Irish speakers for the scheme.

Trainees on the ILBF New Entrant Scheme will learn the craft of television while on placement with television production companies throughout Northern Ireland. 

Essential criteria for all the schemes is that applicants must be fluent in written and spoken Irish. A third level qualification in any of the following would be desirable: Irish; Media Studies; Accounting; Business Studies; Law.

New Entrants Scheme

The New Entrants Scheme in Television Skills is a 12 month paid placement (minimum wage) aimed at those who are new to the industry. There are four training places in total.

Deadline for receipt of applications is 5.00pm, Friday, 29thMay 2020 (late applications will not be accepted). Interviews will take place on the 10th June.
