RTÉ Television provided the most extensive, comprehensive and immediate live coverage of Election 2007. On Friday, 25th May results coverage ran from 11am until 2.30am the following morning before continuing at 11.00am. Over 400 people worked on the programme which had more Outside Broadcast and Satellite units than for any other previous Election.
