Páidí Ó Sé, a colourful legend of gaelic football was a man with a point to prove. Shunned by his beloved Kerry homeland, he swopped green and gold for maroon. MAROONED is a 52’ observational documentary that followed the fortunes of the Westmeath senior football team in their first year under Páidí Ó Sé: from painful sacrifice in the depths of Winter to one glorious moment in the Midsummer sun. A VIP Guest on the most romantic trip of the GAA year, MAROONED captures the inevitable fireworks that happen when men that have suffered raised the stakes. It was double or nothing and the cameras were rolling.
