ATL TV is a new and unique music television programme from BBC Northern Ireland. Presenters Donna Legge and David O'Reilly guide the musically curious through a half hour magazine, mixing live music and sessions, specially commissioned videos for local acts and reports/features from around the country and further afield. It is the only TV show in Ireland where local bands such as Corrigan, Contraband and Spree, each from the increasingly vibrant music scene in Ulster, share airtime with heavyweights like Muse, Franz Ferdinand, the Stereophonics, and Ash. Viewers are made to feel welcome and at home in the presenters company, as the vibey and compelling BBC Radio Ulster show makes a successful transition to the small screen.
