Synopsis of 'Shades of Gray'
A tough-talking private investigator in New York city confronts the police chief over allegations of brutality in the force. Suddenly she finds herself up against the entire NYPD on the gritty, crime-ridden street of New York, pursued by the force that's supposed to protect her.

"Fiona Ashe has created in ‘Shades of Gray’ a gem that reeks of the atmosphere of New York in the dead of night, a time when people die and others seek revenge.” – Peter Sheridan, award-winning director of ‘Borstal Boy’.

'Shades of Gray’ won the Best Film Noir Award at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival, NYC, USA. It was endorsed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Jim Sheridan as “very well directed”.

It was a passion project for the director Fiona Ashe who achieved a lifelong dream of making a black-and-white Film Noir in New York.
