Seamus O'Fitheallaigh was orphaned as an infant and only briefly met his mother twice. Before she died she wrote a letter explaining her past and revealing to him that he had three half sisters. Seamus has always wondered who he really was, and why he was abandoned at such a young age. This programme takes Seamus on a journey to find the answers to the questions that have haunted him throughout his life, as he grows to understand the mother he never knew and discover a family he has yet to love.
