A young man, distracted by the possibility of love and romance, takes a wrong turning after leaving home and the girl of his dreams. He has only been driving for a while when suddenly, in the middle of nowhere, the car breaks down. He sets off on foot, in totally the wrong direction thinking he is heading home.

We follow his journey through the night and into the next day.
