Some recent projects include:
RTÉ Nuacht & RTÉ News (SOCR)
RTÉ requested proposals for the upgrading of news production systems for the Nuacht facility at TG4, and for the SOCR news system in Dublin. Eurotek proposed the combination of Ross Vision Mixer technology and a Ross OverDrive system as an ideal solution for their requirements. This innovative and tailored solution is typical of Eurotek’s ability to understand and cater for their clients’ needs. The technology provided a more sophisticated production, with easy integration into their Avid i‐News newsroom editorial system and Vizrt graphics, resulting in enhanced operator functionality and increased news output.
Houses of the Oireachtas
Eurotek was contracted by the Oireachtas Broadcasting Unit (OBU) to provide a digital acquisition and archiving system for the Houses of the Oireachtas (Irish Parliament). Eurotek designed and built an integrated archive system that incorporated equipment from leading manufacturers including Omneon, SGL, IBIS, Marquis Broadcast, Avid and Telestream.
Eurotek has recently provided UTV with Omneon video server systems to facilitate their impending upgrade to a HD playout service. Working closely with UTV’s project team, and with Snell’s Morpheus project team, Eurotek have helped UTV to determine a robust and reliable broadcast playout facility to serve the needs of the HD service.
Eurotek believe that their genuine interest and passion in this great industry fuels their experience, expertise and continuous innovation. This is reflected in their willingness to engage in projects that require large scale creativity and innovative and cost-effective solutions, whether for a single or networked graphics suite, editing facility, or large scale broadcast project, as well as camera systems, accessories, field recording systems, and all production equipment.
