The official line-up and Dates for the inaugural Disappear Here Film Festival have been announced and will see the Festival take place Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th September 2017 in Ballyliffin, Co. Donegal.
Across the weekend there will be a variety of events; film screenings, workshops, industry master classes and culminating in a live music concert by Ballyliffin band The Plea on Sunday 24th September.
The festival will open on Friday 22nd at 8pm in The Ballyliffin Hotel, with the Donegal premiere of one of the most talked about Irish movies of 2017, Emerald City.
Two other feature films, Penance, 8pm Saturday 23rd, and The Drummer and The Keeper, 8pm Sunday 24th, are sure to attract large audience numbers. A selection of Cast and Crew will attend all of the mentioned headline feature films, with a Q&A session following each screening, allowing the audience the chance to hear directly from the actors and key personnel.
The programme will include short films, documentaries, music videos, animations and feature films, as well as something for children and adults alike, with an animation workshop led by Paul Kelly on Saturday 23rd, plus on Sunday 24th. There will also be a Casting and Audition Workshop led by Louise Kiely Casting, one of Ireland’s leading casting agents.
