The Irish talent who co-directed ‘School Life’ (formerly known as ‘In Loco Parentis’) is one of ten European female talents whose feature debuts will be showcased to the Australian audience, film industry and press.
EFP partners again with Sydney Film Festival for this, the second edition. The selection was made by festival director Nashen Moodley.
‘School Life’ was filmed in Headfort, Co. Meath, in the last remaining Irish boarding school for children of primary age. It has gone from Sundance to the San Francisco Film Festival in the last twelve months and was nominated in the documentary category at the recent IFTA Film & Drama Awards.
We interviewed Ni Chianáinearlier this year on Sundance and Irish Documentary.
