The trailer for ‘Hunger’ is available online. Due to open on 31st October in Ireland, the film is being released by Pathe (Eclipse Pictures in the Republic). The film premieres in Belfast on 16th October, and will also screen at the Corona Cork International Film Festival.

‘Hunger’ is directed by Turner-prize winning artist Steve McQueen, and stars Michael Fassbender in the lead role as Bobby Sands. The film has won the Camera d’Or and the Fipresci International Critics Prize at Cannes earlier this year in May, the Sydney Film Prize, and the Discovery Award at Toronto.
