Steve Lynch is an award winning composer from Dublin, Ireland. For the past 10 years he has written music for tv shows, commercials and films which have been shown all over the world.
Notable film work includes a synth heavy score for "Let Us Prey" (Fantastic Films) and a live orchestral score for "Saving the Titanic" (History Channel/PBS), which was recorded in Bratislava with a 42 piece orchestra, and also earned him an IFTA nomination in 2013.
In advertising, he has written music for over 200 campaigns, including Game of War:Fire Age (Untitled Worldwide), NIKE (Royale LA), IKEA (Kaspen / Jung von Matt Prague), Mercedes Benz (Springer & Jacoby Hamburg), O2 (Cawley Nea Dublin), Galaxy Chocolate (TBWA London) and hundreds of other brands. His cover of David Bowie's "Let’s Dance" was a Top 5 hit in Ireland in 2007 and also won a Gold Shark Award for best use of music in advertising (Ballygowan Water).
He works from a small studio in Wicklow which is full to the brim with all manner of strange instruments. |
