Ruth Lawlor began her career as a makeup artist in Dublin in 2003. After studying makeup for Film, Fashion and Special Effects for a year, Ruth did a short media course with Bill Keating, and then went on to study Media Presentation and Performance at the media college in Ballyfermot. Ruth then embarked on a freelance makeup career combined with working part-time in MAC Cosmetics for over 8 years alongside some of the industries top professionals. Ruth also specialises in bridal makeup, and was voted Irelands Best Wedding Makeup Artist 2009.

Ruth is now one of Dublins most experienced wedding Makeup Artists. She has previously been a tutor at LA Makeup Academy, and currently teaches workshops in schools.
