The Irish Film & Television Academy have an array of industry events planned this month, with preview screenings of exciting Irish titles preceded by an exclusive morning session with Channel 5’s Director of Programmes Ben Frow and Commissioning Editor Sean Doyle.

On Tuesday, November 5th Frow and Doyle will lead a conversation for IFTA Members at Meet the Commissioners, covering their combined experience in content and creative operations for leading broadcasters at home and in the UK.

He has been involved with productions such as ‘Jamie’s Kitchen’, ‘Nigella Bites’ and ‘You are What You Eat.’ More recent commissions include ‘The Six Wives of Henry VII’ and ‘How the Other Half Live.’

Doyle began his career in broadcast as a Development Executive for Telegael Media Group, and then became Head of Development at Wild Rover Productions before making the move to BBC as Head of Development. As Commissioning Editor for Channel 5, Doyle specialises in factual and entertainment factual programmes.
