Cinemagic is an award winning festival that embraces the magic of film, television and digital technologies to educate, motivate and inspire young people through film screenings, industry workshops, practical masterclasses, filmmaking projects and outreach activities.

EDUCATORS
Cinemagic is recognised for its ability to engage with young people, to stimulate discussion on film, film genre and social issues, and to provide opportunities to learn from leading film and television professionals.Cinemagic delivers annual education programmes during the festival periods and education programmes throughout the year specially designed for nursery, primary and post-primary schools.The Cinemagic education provides young people with practical opportunities that range from viewing world cinema, learning about film programming, understanding film classification and using new media technologies.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES
The Cinemagic Children and Family film screening and events programme includes gala film previews, favourite films for young people, international feature films, fun-filled film workshops and special events. All Children and Family film screenings and workshops are open to the public.

YOUNG PEOPLE 12 - 16 YEARS
The Cinemagic film screening and events programme for young people aged 12-16 includes gala film previews, favourite films for young people, international feature films, fun-filled film workshops and special events. Film screenings and workshops are open to the public.

YOUNG PEOPLE 16 - 25 YEARS
The Cinemagic film screening and events programme for young people aged 16-25 includes gala film previews, favourite films for young people, international feature films, film and television masterclasses and special events. Film screenings and masterclasses are open to the public.
