Virgin Media Television are looking for contestants for their brand-new dating show, Grá ar an Trá. Contestants must be 18 - 30 years old to be eligible.
Filming commences in May over two weeks in a secret coastal location in Ireland, and the series will follow twelve singletons as they couple up, try to find love and learn the language, with the ultimate aim of being crowned the ‘Couple with the most Focail’.
Starting off, audiences will meet six single women and six single men all looking for love. The casting team will match the couples in advance, based on personality and Irish language skills – those who are fluent are matched with those who are not. In each episode of this 5-part series, the contestants will undertake challenges to improve their Gaeilge as a couple. Those who improve their Irish the most will survive for another week and step closer to winning the grand prize of €10,000.
