Award-Winning Editor Úna Ní Dhonghaile Nominated for Royal Television Society Awards
08 Nov 2017 : Nathan Griffin
Una Ní Dhonghaile has been nominated for a Royal Television Society Award for her work on BBC One’s ‘Three Girls’.

Úna is no stranger to award ceremonies having been nominated for best editing at the 2017 IFTA Film & Drama Awards (‘The Crown’) and winning Best Documentary at the 2016 IFTA Television Awards (‘The Invisible Man’).

‘Three Girls’ is nominated for four awards in total at this year’s Royal Television Society Awards. The groundbreaking three part series is based on three young girls who were groomed, sexually abused and trafficked by British Pakistani men in Rochdale and of the failure of the authorities to do anything about it.

Úna Ní Dhonghaile is the leading female editor in Ireland having worked across numerous award-winning shows including: ‘The Missing’, ‘Wallander’, ‘Ripper Street’ and ‘Doctor Who’.

The Royal Television Society Craft & Design Awards take place in the London Hilton, Monday November 27th, 2017.
