Noel Curran Takes Up DG Role of the EBU
06 Sep 2017 :
The former Director General of RTÉ, Noel Curran, has taken up his new role as Director General of the European Broadcasting Union

Announced in May this year, Curran has taken up the role. 

“I am delighted to be taking the helm of the world’s leading alliance of public service media,” said Curran

“This is a challenging time for everyone working in PSM but, it is also an incredibly exciting time, with new technology presenting a slew of new opportunities and the role of public service broadcasters as trusted sources of news and information never being more important than it is today.”
