‘Jack and Ralph Plan a Murder’ in Post Production
02 May 2013 : By Kevin Cronin
Jack and Ralph have murder in mind.

‘Jack and Ralph Plan a Murder’ - a new dark comedy set in Dublin in which a bullied office worker joins forces with his imaginary friend to plot revenge against his tormentor - is now in post-production.

Written and directed by Jeff Doyle, the film was shot over eleven days in January with backing from Dublin-based production company Bold Puppy.

The plot revolves around long-suffering Jack and his imaginary pal Ralph as they concoct a plan to eliminate office bully Pat who makes their lives – real or imaginary - such a misery.

An impressive cast of up and coming Irish actors are set to star in the feature including Jeff Doyle (Cuckoo); Johnny Elliott (Charlie Casanova); Chris Newman (Love/Hate, Song for a Raggy Boy); John Connors (King of the Traveller's, Stalker); Aisling Bodkin (Love/Hate); George McMahon; (50 Dead Men Walking, Fair City); Steve Wilson (Vikings, The Tudors); and Brian Fortune (Game of Thrones).

Music for the trailer was provided by Irish band Kodaline with their hit single ‘All I Want’.

‘Jack and Ralph Plan a Murder’ will be submitted for film festival consideration later this year with the goal of securing an Irish cinema release and distribution deal.
