Fifth consecutive award for Game of Thrones Sound mixer.

Ronan Hill has won his fifth consecutive Cinema Audio Society Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing for his work as Production Sound Mixer on Game of Thrones season 7, episode 6 “Beyond the Wall”.

This win comes hot on the heels of a fifth win for his work on Game of Thrones at the TEC awards in January.

The CAS awards were presented at a ceremony on Saturday 24th Feb, in the Bunker Hill Ballroom of the Omni Los Angeles Hotel, California.

Speaking to IFTN Ronan said: “I am delighted and greatly honoured to receive my fifth CAS award. I hold these awards in the same high esteem as my Primetime Emmys as they are voted for by my peers, the membership of the society, who are the best in their class worldwide.
The award is a credit to my team James Atkinson, Jonathan Riddell, Andrew McNeill and the entire production and post production sound teams.”
