Declan Gibbons, Director of Galway UNESCO City of Film and manager of Galway Film Centre has stated:
“We are thrilled to present the One Minute Film Festival as part of Culture Night 2016. This special project provides a unique opportunity for talented Galway filmmakers to showcase their work and celebrate the unique merits of Galway city and county, and we hope to attract work from both established professionals and a new wave of talented filmmakers.”

This unique opportunity challenges filmmakers to develop an inventive and imaginative film in just one minute, providing a stellar platform for both budding and established filmmakers. If you have a venue that wishes to show this programme of films on Culture Night, please contact us at Galway Film Centre for a DVD. This enables communities to make their own event on Culture Night.
