Sarah Caraher has been appointed as Head of Longform at Windmill Lane Pictures Film, Drama & Television Post-Production division.
Sarah will be responsible for all aspects of sales, production and day-to-day running of the Longform division.
Sarah takes charge of the department at the start of a very busy year for Windmill who are currently posting Jim Sheridan’s ‘The Secret Scripture’, Treasure Films ‘Viva’, Newgrange Films ‘My Name is Emily’, ‘L’Accabadora’ for Mammoth Films and ‘Sacrifice’ and ‘Unless’ for Subotica Films.
On the Programme front Windmill are currently in post-production on Big Mountains ‘Wild Ireland’ for ITV, Sideline’s ‘Castles’ for Channel 5 and Parallel Films Julian Temple documentary ‘Strypes’ for the BBC.
Other exciting projects in the pipeline posting at Windmill this year include ‘The King’s Choice’ for Newgrange Films and ‘A Dark Song’ for Samson Films.
Director of Film, Drama & Television Post Production Tim Morris said: ‘I am delighted that Sarah has taken up this position. While I will continue to work closely with her this appointment will allow me to concentrate on the key area of developing International Television and Feature Films in conjunction with Windmill Lane’s associated company WL|VFX, and Number 4 Audio Studios.’
