Oscar-nominated short film ‘Boogaloo and Graham’ to air on RTÉ One on Febraury 20th

'Boogaloo and Graham' is nominated for an Oscar on February 22nd
Northern Irish short film ‘Boogaloo and Graham’ is to air on RTÉ One on Friday, February 20th – two days before the Academy Awards ceremony where the film is nominated in the category of Best Live Action Short.

The Troubles-set short film - written by Ronan Blaney, directed by Michael Lennox and produced by Brian J Falconer of Out of Orbit Productions – has recently won a BAFTA Award for Best Short Film.

The story follows two young boys who discover the facts of life with the help of their pet chickens. Charlene McKenna (‘Ripper Street’) and Martin McCann (‘The Survivalist’) co-star playing the roles of the young boy’s parents who announce they are expecting another child.

‘Boogaloo and Graham’ will air on RTÉ One on Friday, February 20th at 11:55pm. The Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 22nd in Los Angeles.
