Cookery series ‘The Restaurant’ will return to Irish screens on Wednesday, 7th January at 10pm on TV3.
Previous seasons of the show, which invites celebrities into a kitchen to cook for unwitting diners and food critics who are then scored based on the quality of their menu before the celebrity reveals themselves, has broadcast on RTÉ in half-hour instalments, but the new season, the show’s tenth, sees the show move to TV3 in an extended one hour slot.
Vision Independent Productions (VIP) produce the show for TV3 while the show is filmed at the Wineport Lodge in Glasson, Co Westmeath.
Commenting on The Restaurant’s arrival to TV3, Jeff Ford, TV3 Group Director of Content, said: ‘It’s wonderful to see a programme like ‘The Restaurant’, one of TV’s most popular cookery series’, on TV3. Even more wonderful is the fact that we will be extending each programme to an hour in duration so foodies everywhere will be salivating for longer over the delicious menus being served up by the secret celebrity chefs each week. ‘The Restaurant’ is a real recipe for success.’
'The Restaurant' will air on Wednesday, January 7th at 10pm on TV3.
