The LGFA broke the current record for Croke Park attendance with the recent All-Ireland Final the TG4 Championships, at 34,000.
TG4’s live coverage of the final has been confirmed by Nielsen date as having reached an audience of 235,000, with a reach of just under 500,000.
The TG4 share of the national TV audience for the duration of the match, in which Cork narrowly defeated Dublin, was just under 27%.
All of these TV rating measures for the final also match TG4’s own audience records for this event over the past 16 years.
