TG4's Ros na Rún hosted an unforgettable celebration to mark their milestone 21st birthday with a BBQ Street Party to launch the new 21st season.
The latest season returns to screens on Tuesday the 6th September. Guests on set were given an exclusive look behind the scenes of Ireland’s only Irish language soap at this special bash.
On set they mingled with the cast and crew in Ros na Rún’s landmark pub Tigh Thaidhg with its iconic publican behind the bar, the machiavellian Tadhg Ó Direáin, played by Macdara Ó Fatharta.
The main street of Ros na Rún was buzzing as cast, crew and guests toasted the soap’s coming of age and blew out the candles on the gigantic birthday cake in the company of the original cast members who have been with Ros Rún since the very first season.
