‘Xccelerate’ Gears Up for 3e Debut

Brand new Irish motoring series ‘Xccelerate’ will broadcast on Irish television from Friday, 20th November 2009 at 7pm on 3e.

‘Xccelerate’ will be the only motoring programme on Irish television that is produced entirely in Ireland, with Irish cars, Irish locations and Irish presenters. Produced by City Productions and presented by motoring journalist Conor Twomey and broadcaster Rachel Wyse (The Show Jumping Ireland Premier Series), ‘Xccelerate’ is intended to appeal to both genders of all age groups.

The six part series is directed by Alan Walsh and produced by Vanessa Kaminski (I Killed John Lennon) and the director of photography for the series is Kevin Cantrell. Some of the cars featured in the six episodes are BMW's X1 and 5-Series Gran Turismo, Peugeot 3008, Alfa Romeo MiTo and the programme will also feature an appearance from Ireland’s fastest pensioner and a paintball battle in Mazda2 cars.

‘Xccelerate’ will screen weekly from Friday, November 20th at 7pm on 3e.
