Applications Open for Stage Combat Course at the Gaiety School of Acting

The Gaiety School of Acting
The Gaiety School of Acting is now accepting applications from participant who wish to take part in its upcoming Stage Combat course, which begins in October.

This safe quality training of actors in Stage Combat course will guide participants through the challenging craft of the stage combat moves, covering important safety skills for use in stage and screen. This is a practical ten-week course, with students first observing and then participating in the techniques and exercises guided by the instructor.

Participants of the Stage Combat course can expect to:

  • develop acute concentration skills
  • develop an awareness of balance, agility, mobility, distance, and timing
  • develop an understanding of staging and playing angles through the safe practice of performance of physical conflict

Upcoming Courses:

Term 1 | Oct 2nd – Dec 4th 

Term 2 | Jan 15th – Mar 18th 

Term 3 | Apr 8th – Jun 10th

Day: Wednesday

Time: 7 – 9 pm

Age: 18+

Cost: €350
