Nesbitt has reprised to his role as Adam Williams in the comedy series created by Mike Bullen, which originally ran from 1997-2003. ‘Cold Feet’ will air on UTV Ireland on Monday, September 5th.
The multi-award winning series earned the cast and crew upwards of 40 nominations in its lifetime for its standard of writing, acting and comedy to name a few.
Almost 20 of these were awarded, including Best Drama Series at the 2002 BAFTA TV Awards and People’s Choice at the 2001 at the British Comedy Awards.

On the return of the series, Nesbitt recently stated he never thought the series would make a return, but was convinced of its success when he read the latest material from Writer/Director Mike Bullen.
“Then I opened the script and thought, ‘Oh my God, there they are’. Enough time had gone by. Those familiar yet distant characters leapt off the page, and they still had something to say.”
Nesbitt has developed an impressive collection of credits since last appearing on ‘Cold Feet’ include his role as Bofur in ‘The Hobbit’ trilogy and his portrayal of Tony Hughes in TV series ‘Stan Lee's Lucky Man’, which earned him a BAFTA TV Award nomination for Best Leading Actor in 2015.
Most recently he appeared in ITV drama 'The Secret' alongside Genevieve O’Reilly (The Honourable Woman), adapted by Stuart Urban from the book Let This Be Our Secret by Deric Henderson.
