The Programme for Screen Acting is a full time, year-long acting training resource dedicated specifically to screen acting, and is audition-based. Sessions with experienced professionals, as well as regular film screenings, access to shooting and screening facilities, altogether form a comprehensive syllabus of study in all areas of performance for camera and development as a screen actor.

The Factory, located at Grand Canal Dock, was founded in 2009 by Kirsten Sheridan (‘Dollhouse’), Lance Daly (‘Life’s a Breeze’, ‘Kisses’) and John Carney (‘Once’, ‘Begin Again’) as a means for filmmakers in Ireland to get together in a creative space where they can share filmmaking ideas and visions. It also provides training and development for aspiring filmmakers, as well as use of its equipment and post-production facilities for established filmmakers.
