The Kerry Training Centre, in association with the National Digital Skills Centre, is set to host a week-long special effects makeup course starting June 16.
The centre is currently looking for participants for the course, which will be run by Gorton Studios Manager, Danny Marie Elias. The course will focus on character makeup and creative design, and will include modules such as creative makeup for fashion and catwalk; airbrushing and body art; tattoo design and application; character makeup; and ageing makeup.
Gorton Studios is directed by internationally acclaimed prosthetics designer Neill Gorton, and is widely regarded as Europe’s most authentic screen prosthetics school. The course has limited places and will take place in the Kerry Training Centre, Tralee from the June 16 – 20, 2014.
