Testimonials
“Brave, powerful, exciting and compelling on and off camera, Valeria is a diamond”. - Terry McMahon, Director.
"I don't think anything I put here will do justice to just what Valeria brings to a film set, but I can try. Firstly, her dedication and passion for the arts is something that clearly stems deeply rooted in her - she has it in the blood and this is even more evident in her work.
It really is nothing short of a privilege to watch this woman act, as well as skilled and wonderfully intuitive; she is able to turn her hand to anything.
Secondly, Valeria is a person unlike anyone I have ever met. Such a kind, warm-hearted and personable person who is happy, thoughtful and exceptionally kind. Her attitude on set to work and to people really does make it a pleasure to not just work with her, but know her as a person. I cannot recommend this person enough". - Tarun Thind, director
"Valeria takes complete responsibility for the roles she plays, including details of makeup and costume. On set, she is always thoroughly prepared and willing to take direction and experiment with the day's opportunities. Her range spans from science fiction to provocative social drama, and I look forward to working with her again in the future". – Aidan Duffy, Director
"I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Valeria Bandino. She brought her larger than life personality to a small role, making the 'Wealthy Tourist' a memorable character for all the right reasons. She takes direction well, contributes appropriately and is always prepared on set making her a very easy person to work with. I hope to have the good fortune to work with Valeria in the future." - Louise MacSweeney, Director
“I first met Valeria when we approached her to appear in a short film I was directing. Later, we worked together on a winning Darklight 48hr film competition entry.
Valeria was invaluable to me in terms of helping fill the considerable gaps I had in my experience. She was patient, insightful, and helped others on the production. Her acting brought the shorts we worked on to life, and it was no surprise she has gone on to star in feature films – an all-round great actress and more importantly, a great person to work with”. - Joseph Sullivan, Director
