Born in Dublin brought up in Co. Kildare I started dance & drama training aged 14 at the former Digges Lane School of Performing Arts in Dublin.
After completing Secondary School I undertook a Foundation Course in Drama at Inchicore VEC before moving to London to train further (see Training) Work in theatre television followed. I left acting for a time due to illness. I then studied a B.A in Irish Music & Dance and a Masters in Songwriting. I also work as a professional musician and dance & drama teacher.
I trained in Performing Arts at:- The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts London. The Gaiety School of Acting Dublin, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts New York and The Irish Film Actor's Studio Dublin.
I have worked in theatre predominently with some television and film work also
I was offered a Membership of IFTA 11 years ago but was in the middle of an illness and wasn't able to take up the offer then life drew me away from acting for some years where in that time I completed a degree in Irish Music & Dance and a Masters in Songwriting. I am now reintegrating myself into the world of acting.
