The ‘The Crying Game’ helmer will direct the actresses in leading roles, as the young Frances who befriends a lonely widow (Huppert), only to discover their encounter is not a coincidence.

Jordan, whose recent work includes Sky Atlantic series ‘Riviera’, directs a script he has co-written with Ray Wright (The Crazies).

The film is set in New York with ‘It Follows’ actress Maika Monroe also set to take on a supporting role as a friend of Frances (Moretz).

Irish talent James Flynn (P.S. I Love You) produces alongside Lawrence Bender, Sidney Kimmel and John Penotti.

Jordan is also in pre-production on ‘The Trainer’ starring Liam Neeson, who will play racehorse trainer John Moore, who is beset by personal tragedy. The title will film in the West of Ireland in 2018.
