The latest instalment of the internationally successful series based on the acclaimed novels by Galway author Ken Bruen airs Saturday at 21:00 on be3.
The upcoming ‘Cross’ is the first of three ninety minute films composing the latest series, filmed in Connemara, Co. Galway in 2016. The remaining episodes, ‘Headstone’ and ‘Purgatory’ are to air for two consecutive Saturdays in the same slot.
The series is produced by Telegael in association with ZDF Enterprises (Germany) and Content Media International (USA).
Iain Glen (Game of Thrones) stars the titular character, an ex-cop turned private investigator who takes on cases the Gardaí won’t, no matter how hopeless. The cast also includes Siobhán O’Kelly (An Klondike) and Jack Monaghan (Black Mirror).
‘Jack Taylor’ has cultivated an international fan base, having aired in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, the USA, Canada and others. The series is also set to become available to users on Netflix.
