Irish director John Moore has signed on to direct the thriller ‘N.O.C’, which is scheduled to shoot in Berlin in the summer.
The film, written by Dave Matalon and Daniel Scott Gordon and tells the story of CIA operative who discovers that a faction of the agency is actively collaborating with the terrorist cell he was sent to infiltrate.
Radiant Films International/Cargo Entertainment are over foreign sales at Cannes.
Moore is currently in post-production of the thriller ‘I.T’ which stars Pierce Brosnan as a successful owner of a private jet business who finds himself pitted against a disgruntled young I.T. consultant who begins stalking his daughter and using technology to threaten his family, business and life. The film shot in Dublin in June 2015.
Also on Moore’s slate is World War II biopic ‘Come Hell Or High Water’ which will tell the true story of Capt. Ernest Evans and follow his actions during the Battle off Samar, a critical part of the October 1944 Battle of Leyte Gulf that is considered perhaps the largest naval engagement in history.
DKIT graduate Moore has an impressive pedigree of directing big-budget films that have become commercially successful with his filmography consisting of ‘Behind Enemy Lines’, ‘Flight of the Phoenix’, ‘The Omen’, ‘Max Payne’ and ‘A Good Day To Die Hard’.
